NSR's thirty years of experience puts YOU at the front of the line: NSR promotional programs (described below) are extraordinary in the quality and depth of their features and benefits to our clients.  They are thorough in their geographic coverage and detailed in the data provided to college coaches.  Each NSR prospect receives exposure on both a wide- and targeted-range.  That is, while all college coaches in a client's sport receives regular, monthly updates from us, we also work closely with our clients to target particular colleges, athletically and academically.  No one in America, recruiting company or individual, can conceivably provide you with this type of extraordinarily comprehensive coverage and representation.  Only NSR.   

Confidentiality is yours: All our prospect-clients enjoy complete confidentiality when it comes to the information we provide on their Web sites.  We never post a client's phone numbers, address or social security number  and we are extremely careful to only release that data to college coaches upon their specific request.   You can trust NSR to always be protective of you or your child's personal and sensitive information.

Produce and Distribute a 4-Page Personal Brochure for You 
Our Game Plan for you will be a multi-faceted approach to insure that college coaches will have a variety of ways to recognize you as a legitimate prospect.  This particular feature (the brochure) is an annual direct mail campaign to the colleges you choose.  NSR home office staff members will design a four-page brochure which will contain complete information about you.  This may include your personal character references, honors and achievements, academic records, athletic statistics, a personal essay or message written by you along with photos of you.  You may update this brochure from your home, office or school computer at any time.  These updates will be reviewed by our staff and then posted, eliminating the need for delays created by mailing paperwork and pictures back and forth. Each year you may select at least 50 colleges for a special mailing of your brochure to the coaches at those schools. We will hand fold, seal and mail these from our home office.  Printed in full-color on top-quality printing stock, NSR will send your brochure, a letter of recommendation and other information pertinent to coaches' ability to evaluate you as a college prospect.  Your brochure alone will help you to stand out from all other prospects. 

Distribute Your Proifle to College Coaches Across America Each Month                                                              Every month NSR will contact all of the college coaches, in every division, in your specific sport via email.  Along with our personal recommendation letter, we will give coaches access to your complete personal data file, including your latest monthly scouting reports and updated statistical and personal information, your website link and e-mail address, and any other information pertinent to promoting you.  To accomplish this for you, NSR maintains an unpublished, personal e-mail address file of over 25,000 head coaches and assistant coaches which is regularly updated. 

 

 

Connect You Regionally to Colleges Which Match Your Personal, Academic Preferences
Based on personal criteria furnished by you, each year NSR will search out all colleges meeting your academic qualifications and goals. Area of the country, size of school, level of athletic competition and other factors may be used to determine the colleges to be searched. NSR will promote your athletic and academic qualifications to all these colleges.  This a specialized and highly effective method of getting you noticed by college coaches.  You may provide NSR with a personal note that we will send to the coaches whose colleges you match. 

Professionally Edit, Digitize and Distribute Your Video Footage
In today's recruiting environment, the quick accessibility to video footage is a basic requirement.  Using footage from videos you furnish, each year NSR's in-house video department of professionally trained editors will carefully review, edit and produce a top-quality, master evaluation video demonstrating your athletic abilities for college coaches to evaluate. The video may include personal interviews with your coaches, skill demonstrations, showcase drills, game or other competition footage, graphics and background music to enhance the visual effect of the video.  Each month every college coach in your sport is notified and made aware that they may access your online video via web link. This allows college coaches across America to view a complete full-screen, top-quality digital video of you which they can evaluate in their offices, homes or on recruiting trips.  NSR will also make special contact with at least 50 colleges of your choice stating your interest in them and providing them with a link to your footage.  Upon their request, colleges may also receive videos on VHS or DVD format.  This video accessibility is a crucial element in the recruiting process and provides you with a significant advantage over other prospects.

Distribute Your DVD & Brochure Directly to College Coaches
Once during your high school career (preferably your junior or senior year) you may select up to 20 colleges to receive your personal evaluation video on DVD accompanied and an up-to-date copy of your personal brochure. You may also submit to NSR a personal letter to the coaches which will be included in each of these mailings.  This added personal touch can have a impact on a college coach as he or she makes scholarship offer decisions.

Connect You to Coaches Through Our "College Request Service"
College coaches from around the country regularly contact NSR requesting recommendations and referrals on prospects meeting specific criteria. If you (prospect) match the criteria requested, your updated profile, complete data file and a direct link to your video will be sent to each college requesting the information.  This service often connects prospects with college coaches which were not on their original list of preferred colleges and can open additional doors of opportunity for you.  However, here is the bonus feature as an NSR prospect you receive which is unique to NSR.  We will auto-populate your "Recruiting Organizer" with info on any college and coach whose inquiries match your attributes.  (For more, see Recruiting Organizer below.) 

Build You a 10-page, Personal Website
The day of word-of-mouth recruiting is waning rapidly.  Instead, having a comprehensive Web site is a highly desireable recruiting tool for prospects who want to be evaluated by as many coaches as possible.  However, simply posting your profile on a Web site is ineffective if you do not marry it with a proven promotional effort.  NSR's staff of highly-trained webmasters will produce a professionally designed, personal website for you.  Your site will contain up to ten separate web pages, each featuring a different category.  Included may be your personal and academic information, athletic evaluations and statistics, high school transcript, scanned newspaper articles, awards, competition or game reports, family information, photos, video and a personal message from you to college coaches about your determination to participate in college athletics and get a college degree.  You may provide NSR with information to add to the website at anytime by accessing your NSR Personal Portal on our Website.  This will give you full access to your profile anytime you would like to update your information.  Update today, it's online within two working days. 

Include Your Personal Website Link in Your Monthly Promotion
Your personal website including the changes and statistical updates which you have made from your home computer will be sent to all college coaches every month as a link through our monthly emails to all the college coaches across America in your sport.  With the ability to click on your Website, college coaches can quickly see your qualifications and determine if you are a good fit for their program.  By putting you in front of college coaches each month, NSR can effectively reach not only established coaches and coaching staffs, but also those which have recently taken over a program, changed schools or have moved to other responsibilities within a staff.

Provide You with Continuous Internet Exposure
Your personal profile and other scouting information will be securely maintained in the NSR website.  Every college coach and admissions officer in the country has free access to the NSR files, at all times. And, the NSR website is updated and refreshed on a daily basis.  Take special note of this:  You and your parents may make additions or changes to your Website file as often as you would like, from wherever you would like.  The flexibility to post daily, weekly or even monthly updates, articles and pictures gives you a clear advantage over other prospects with whom you are competing for scholarship offers.

Provide You with Our Signature "Questionnaire Service"
College questionnaires are extremely important in the recruiting process.  Receiving one means that you are a legitimate prospect and that you have been recognized as a potential recruit by a college coaching staff.  As an NSR prospect, we want to give your questionnaire the special treatment it deserves.  We will ask you to promptly fill out the questionnaires you receive and then submit them to the NSR home office.  Our staff will then forward them to the respective college coaches along with your most recent, updated brochure.  This will make a great impression on a college coach and identify you as a selected NSR prospect who has already met or exceed a number of pre-qualification standards. 

Offer You NSR Showcase Privileges
NSR will at times either conduct or sponsor showcases around the United States in a variety of sports.  As an NSR prospect, you are entitled to attend these sanctioned NSR showcases without paying the registration fee which non-NSR prospects must pay.  Your certified results at these events and/or your individual showcase skills videos will be placed on a special Internet site for college coaches to evaluate.  You may also place certified statistics of any other NSR approved showcase on the site at no additional charge to you.  Watch for upcoming NSR showcases on the "New and Events" section of our Website at www.nsr-inc.com. 

Give You Unlimited Sports Camp Recommendations
At NSR, we know the value of attending camps during the summertime.  You can learn new ways to improve, make impressions on the coaches and trainers and begin to develop relationships with coaching staffs which can in turn be invaluable to you as the recruiting process moves forward.  If you attend any NCAA-sanctioned sports camp, NSR will notify the camp director about your credentials and ability prior to the start of the camp. NSR will send the director a letter of recommendation about you and enclose a copy of your latest color profile and a direct link to your personal video on NSR’s high-speed, high-band-width server. The purpose of this is to ensure you of getting special attention at the camp.  Very few of the players who attend these camps will have the ability to send the coaches video footage, but this benefit is something NSR knows will help you to become a more sought after recruit.  Coaches typically will spend time reviewing your video to see if you might be a potential prospect to watch and evaluate for their program.  NSR needs three weeks advance notice of any camp you plan to attend. 

Assign You a Special NSR E-mail Address
NSR believes that communication between prospects and college coaches is one of the keys to a successful recruiting effort.  For that reason, you will be assigned an unpublished, special e-mail address, issued by the NSR home office, to be used exclusively by college coaches or you for other recruiting communications.  Coaches may use this address to contact your directly or, in some cases, send you an attached “Athletic Questionnaire” via e-mail.  You can also use this address to personally contact or communicate with college coaches. Your special e-mail address will be included in all NSR promotions to college coaches.  We encourage you to check your e-mail box frequently so that you can quickly respond to any inquiries or communications from college coaches. 

Offer You and Your Family a Supplemental Scholarship Search
NSR provides a non-athletic search of scholarships based on personal criteria provided by you and your family.  These are scholarships which you may qualify for but are not aware exist.  Millions of dollars of these scholarships go unclaimed each year by unknowing students.  When you submit our one-page qualification form, we will conduct a nationwide search for any scholarships which may be available to you.  We will then send you a list of these scholarships which you must then apply for.  We strongly encourage you to utilize this unique service which could result in additional funding for your college expenses.

Post Your Transcript for Coaches to Review
At the time of your enrollment with NSR, your scout will obtain a transcript release from your parent.  This release will request an updated copy of your unofficial transcript from the high school.  This will become a part of your file and made available to all colleges on your Website or by their specific request.  When we post your transcript, however, we will black out your home address, phone number and social security number to prevent anyone perusing your Website from accessing this important data.  At anytime, you may request from your high school that a copy of an updated transcript be sent to NSR.  Your updated transcript will be sent to all colleges as part of your monthly Website promotion.

Provide You with College Application & Financial Aid Assistance
NSR will notify any college of your choice for the purpose of gaining admission to that college or to request financial aid assistance.  We will request, on your behalf, the college’s promotional materials, admissions application, financial aid forms or other financial aid information, as well as scholarship opportunities. 

Offer You "Extended Services" if the Need Arises
All NSR services are extended through Junior College and Prep School when you notify NSR of your entrance to any of these educational institutions, that is, as long as you continue to participate in athletics at that level.  For a variety of reasons, many NSR prospects over the years have elected to hone their skills and improve their grades for two more years prior to entering their final two years at a four year college.  Others may find the cost of attending a college, even with scholarship offers, beyond their means.  In those cases, two-year colleges are viable options.  NSR will stand with you and continue to promote you in any of these circumstances.

 

Send You Our Monthly Newsletter, "The NSR Journal"                                              Each month NSR publishes a newsletter exclusively for our prospects and parents.  The NSR Journal is informative and inspirational.  It gives you the most recent updates in college and high school athletics, tips on how to improve athletically as well as academically and it offers key recruiting and testing dates which you can access at anytime.  Look in your NSR email box at the first of each month to get your copy.   

Give You Our Innovative "Recruiting Organizer"
This new and innovative feature changes everything.  The NSR Recruiting Organizer is designed to do what no other recruiting service in America can do -- inform you when you match a college coach's specific recruiting need.  Each week college coaches across America at all levels of competition send NSR emails detailing their recruiting needs and requesting assistance.  We not only send coaches the personal profile of every NSR prospect matching their criteria, but we also alert each NSR prospect by "auto-populating" the data onto their Recruiting Organizer along with the coaches' contact info.  This gives NSR prospects a tremendous advantage that no other recruiting organization in the world offers.  It is true - NSR's Recruiting Organizer changes everything.
