Former NSR Prospect Reggie Topps Helps Utes to Sun Bowl Win Over Yellow Jackets

Former NSR football prospect Reggie Topps, from North Monterey County High School in Prunedale, California and current junior defensive back for the University of Utah, enjoyed his third post season bowl victory with the Utes when they won an overtime thriller 30-27 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Sun Bowl in El Paso Texas on New Year’s Eve. With Reggie on the squad, Utah has taken home trophies from the Pointsettia Bowl and BCS Sugar Bowl. In their innaugural PAC 12 season, Utah posted an 8-5 record in 2011. In those 13 games, Reggie had 33 tackles and one interception. His NSR scout is Stacey Harris, Northern California Area Director.
