T*W*I*S: Ohio State Hits New Low with Tressel Gone and Pryor’s Priors Scrutinized
And they said it couldn’t get worse. Two months ago we predicted darker days were ahead when Jim Tressel’s unfortunate version of the truth was being challenged by the media and the NCAA. Exposed emails communicating Tressel’s apparent knowledge of the scenarios in question and the subsequent, alleged cover-up have taken the once proud program deeper into no-man’s land. Tressel has unceremoniously quit and now Terrell Pryor’s association with Columbus area car dealerships is being put under a microscope. TP did himself no great favor by showing up in yet another new car at a team meeting on Memorial Day to learn of Tressel’s forced resignation. So, once again there is no end in sight as Buckeye Nation hides its eyes, but not its embarrassment. Where are Woody Hayes and Bruce Earle when you need them?
