NSR takes only the best student-athletes

College administrators and coaches recognize NSR student-athletes in every sport as being among the best college prospects in the nation. Many former NSR prospects have gone on to become very successful in their chosen career fields, or in professional athletics. For over 30 years, NSR has provided deserving high school athletes with the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and goals through college athletics. However, we don't accept everyone into our program. In addition to being an outstanding athlete, our prospects must have acceptable academic credentials, be of good character, and have the attitude and personal qualifications that colleges have come to expect from all NSR recommended student-athletes.

Athlete Brochure

NSR will create a promotional brochure containing complete information about the prospect, which may include: athlete photos, academic and athletic statistics, honors and achievements, personal references, and a personal essay or message written by the prospect.

Brochure Mailing

Twice each year, prospects may select up to 50 colleges to receive their athlete brochure. Printed in full-color, NSR sends college coaching staffs individual mailings of the prospect's athlete brochure, with a letter of recommendation, as well as any other information pertinent to the prospect's promotion.

Internet Exposure

The prospect's personal profile and other scouting information will be maintained on the NSR website. Every college coach and admissions officer in America has free access to the NSR files at all times. Recruiting profiles may contain personal and academic information, athletic evaluations and statistics, newspaper articles, awards, competition or game reports, family information, photos, video, and a personal message. The prospect may make updates at any time through his or her portal.

Unlimited Evaluation Video Edits

Using footage from videos furnished by the prospect, NSR will edit and produce a top-quality master evaluation video demonstrating the prospect's abilities. The video may include a personal message, interviews with coaches, skills demonstrations, camp, combine or showcase drills, strength and conditioning workouts, game footage, and graphics and background music to enhance the video.

Total College Exposure

NSR maintains an unpublished list of over 25,000 head and assistant coach email address. Each month we will contact every coach, in every division of the prospect's sport, and give them access to the prospect's complete data file, including all contents of their personal website.

Regional College Selections

Twice each year - based on personal criteria furnished by the prospect - NSR will match colleges that meet the prospect's qualifications and goals, region of the country, size of the school, level of athletic competition and other factors. We then send the prospect's complete information, including video, to those coaches.

Video Promotion

NSR will digitize the prospect's video and host it on our dedicated server. Once during the prospect's high school career, NSR will send up to 100 colleges of the prospect's choice a promotional letter with direct link to the prospect's video, citing the his or her particular interest in that school. By request from college coaches, NSR will also mail the prospect's video on dvd.

DVD / Brochure Mailing

Once during the prospect's high school career, he or she may select up to 20 colleges to receive a personal evaluation dvd, along with an updated copy of his or her personal brochure. The prospect may also attach a personal letter to the coaches, which will be included in each of these mailings.

College Coach Request

College coaches throughout the country regularly contact NSR requesting recommendations and referrals for prospects who meet specific criteria. If the prospect meets the criteria requested, an updated profile, complete data file and a direct link to his or her evaluation video will be sent to each college requesting the information.

Recruiting Organizer

NSR will provide the prospect with a recruiting organizer to assist in keeping track of contacts, communications, and visits with college coaches. When NSR receives a college coach request that matches that prospect's information, the coach will be auto-populated into the prospect's recruiting organizer.

Questionnaire Service

The prospect may submit completed college athletic questionnaires and cover letters to NSR at anytime. These will be returned to each respective college, along with the prospect's most recent updated personal brochure.

Sport Camp Recommendation

If the prospect plans to attend any sport camp sanctioned by the NCAA, NSR will notify the camp director about the prospect's credentials and ability prior to the start of the camp. NSR will also send the camp director a letter of recommendation and enclose a copy of the prospect's evaluation video. This helps ensure the prospect gets special attention at the camp.

Recruiting Email Address

The prospect will be issued an email address used exclusively for recruiting purposes. This email will also be included in NSR promotions, and is the primary means by which prospects and coaches are to communicate.

Social Media Promotions

When provided by the prospect, NSR will post extraordinary accomplishments and newspaper feature stories via social media outlets, as well as through NSR's news & events blog, which will include a link to the prospect's website and video(s).

Scholarship Search

Based on personal criteria provided by the prospect and parents, NSR will conduct a non-athletic-affiliated scholarship search which could, if the prospect qualifies, offer additional financial assistance toward college expenses.

Application / Financial Aid Assist

NSR will contact any college of the prospect's choice in order to request financial aid assistance or for the purpose of gaining admission. Information obtained may include: the colleges' promotional material, admissions application, financial aid forms and information, and what scholarship opportunities might be available.

Monthly Newsletter

Each month NSR will send the prospect a copy of the NSR journal - a newsletter with NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA recruiting news, significant recruiting dates, and helpful tips on how to maximize the NSR program as a whole.

ServicePlus Information Center

Throughout the prospects high school career, NSR will provide home office support via our service plus info center. If at anytime the prospect cannot reach his or her scout, or if a situation requires additional assistance which only the home office staff can provide, the prospect may call or email the ServicePlus Info Center. The staff at NSR is dedicated to providing excellent service to our prospects and encourages them to access this expertise at anytime.

Junior College Extended Service

All NSR services are extended through junior college and prep school as long as the prospect continues playing the sport competitively, and notifies NSR via email of his or her decision to pursue these alternative educational routes.
