Cool, USA Basketball.  Without all the hype and drama which has accompanied many of the previous USA teams at international tournaments, this year’s team quietly went out and won gold for the first time in 16 years at the FIBA World Championships.  Led by Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski, the US men’s squad was undersized and lacked a lot of the star power they could have had, i.e. Kobe, but they did a workmanlike job nonetheless.  Very cool, USA Basketball.

Uncool to the New York Jets players and coaches for their treatment of Mexican TV Azteca’s reporter Ines Sainz who was in the Jets locker room to interview team starting quarterback Mark Sanchez.  The organization’s boorish behavior during HBO’s Hard Knocks show was tolerable, even downright funny at times, but sexual harrassment is another thing altogether.  Even pros have to grow up sometime, fellas.  Very uncool, Jets.
