What to do? Your season is out. Coaches can’t see you play in person. You aren’t on their recruiting lists. So, again, what to do?
First, it’s critical for you to know what’s really going on in college coaches’ offices right now. They, too, are just getting back into the swing of things. After some much deserved time off with family and friends over the holidays, they are getting back into their offices and meeting with their staffs about which prospects they are going to target in their recruiting efforts. Some prospects will be pushed aside. Others will be re-evaluated. Others, and this is the most crucial point for you, will have the opportunity to get on their recruiting radar. But, how do you make that happen in the most efficient way?
We know from 32 years of experience with college coaches that one of the last sources of new prospects coaches use is through info sent to them by parents and prospects. Coaches know that the info is so biased that it is unreliable. They will only access this info as a last resort.
But, if this info arrives from a trusted source, like NSR, whose longtime reputation has been gained through years of professional scouting and vetting prospects, they stop and they look at the info. Coaches know that when NSR sends them prospect info that some key things have already happened. An NSR scout has already closely examined the athlete’s qualifications and approved them athletically and academically. And, coaches know that when NSR puts a prospect’s profile in front of them that athlete has already been screened and seen.
Want to get seen right away? Choose a reliable source. Contact your nearest NSR scout. Let him or her know that you want to be noticed, evaluated and recruited by college coaches ASAP. That scout will take you through the process of learning who you are as a college prospect, athletically and academically, and ask for proof of your good character through references. An interview will be arranged with you and your parents in that the scout will examine your full qualifications. If you are a legitimate college prospect, the NSR scout will provide you with information on how to best proceed. If you are not yet a prospect, this same scout will offer you helpful hints and suggestions on what to work on to become a college prospect.
Being recruited to be a college student-athlete will only present itself once in your life. Don’t waste that chance. Contact an NSR scout today. You’ll be happy that you took the steps necessary to reach your dreams.
