Former NSR wrestling prospect, John Martin Cannon, from the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York recently traveled West for the 2011 Ken Kraft Midlands Championships where he put together a fourth-place finish. Earning the seventh seed, John won five matches in the tournament, including victories over the sixth, eighth and ninth seeds in the 174-pound bracket. His two losses came by one point apiece.
