We are proud to present Cody Kiss a 2012 soccer standout from Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, New Jersey, as our Male Athlete of the Day. Cody has committed to play for Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. The 5’7″ midfielder with a 3.3 GPA has played in the Umbro Cup in England, the Denosti Cup in Spain and against academy teams in England with the New Jersey Rangers Football Club. In his essay to college coaches, Cody says, “I think that my biggest strengths are versatility leadership, and composure. Being captain of my club team, I play in any position that my team is struggling in and my team follows the work that I put in. I have played at a very high level for most of my soccer career.” His NSR scout is Dan Greco, New Jersey AD and Northeast Regional Manager.
