NSR is very proud to select 2012 volleyball prospect, Lauren Powell from The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas, as our Female Athlete of the Day. The 5’10” hitter/setter recently commtted to play for the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas. Lauren carries a 3.4 GPA and plans to major in Graphic Design. Her NSR scouting report reads, “Lauren has always been a fundamentally strong player with excellent vision and court sense. Coaches love her consistency and all around versatility, both front and back row. She plays with a lot of emotion and always raises the intensity level when she’s on the court. Lauren is an energetic team player that will make a significant contribution to a college program.”
