Haylee Oliver

We love it when a former NSR prospect makes such a dynamic impact on a college campus and team as a freshman.  2011 San Saba High School grad Haylee Oliver, now playing hoops for Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, recently was named Lonestar Conference Co-Freshman Player of the Year!   Haylee is a 5’11” point guard and this past season she finished with an impressive 37 percent three-point field percentage while averaging 11.1 points and five rebounds per game as a reserve on the Rams squad.  She had a season-best 28 points against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Jan. 4, won the LSC’s Defensive Player of the Week after recording her first double-double on Feb. 22 against Tarleton State finishing with 13 points and a season-high 13 boards, and scored in double figures 17 times even though she started only four games.  Her NSR scout is a very proud Jason Espinoza, Texas Heartland AD.
