Our NSR Male Athlete of the Day is a 2013 all-purpose player, Alex Biedenharn, from River Oaks High School in Louisiana. This 4.5 burner sports a 3.0 GPA and expects to major in Business. His NSR scout, Clay Parker, has this to say about Alex in his scouting report: “Alex is a high character kid who would be a good addition to a college program in a few years. He’s very quick and has already run a 4.57 . Alex’s versatility is exceptional – he runs the ball, catches the ball, returns kicks and punts and plays defensive back. He was named 2nd team All State as a junior rushing for 1523 yards on 9.7 yards per carry.” In his essay to college coaches, Alex says, ” I’m a leader on the field and in other activities outside of football. When one of our team’s star player got hurt and I had to fill his position, it made me feel as if I had to step up and do everything I could to contribute to our team and make up for our loss. As a sophomore, I ran for over 750 yards (11.5 average per carry) and I helped lead River Oaks to a State Championship.”
