Kennedy Marker

Introducing Kennedy Marker from East Lansing High School in East Lansing, Michigan is a pleasure for us at NSR.  She is the ideal student-athlete who has been able to combine unlimited athletic potential and performance with outstanding classroom results.  At 6’0″ tall, she is well suited for front row college play.  And it doesn’t hurt that she has garnered nearly every honor available to her following her junior season by being named All-Area First Team, All-Conference as well as All-Region while capturing the school’s team Captain’s Award.  And she produces great results in the classroom, too, having earned a 3.78 GPA.  Rodney Palmer is her NSR scout an in his scouting report on her, Rodney states, “Kennedy Marker is without question one of mid-Michigan’s top college prospects, beginning with her 6’0″ height, long arms, and a high vertical jump (9’8”approach touch). She has an above average arm swing and a quick lift at the net. She has the ability to play back row as well as at the net. This young lady is a multi-sport athlete, but her dominating desire is volleyball. Kennedy is committed and dedicated to doing all that is necessary to get stronger and improve her footwork. She is an excellent student, 3.75 GPA, and her character is above reproach.”  Kennedy speaks directly to college coaches in her personal essay when she says, “I always give one hundred percent in what ever I do, on and off the court I set my goals very high so that even if I do not achieve them I have still accomplished something. There is always room to improve; I am continually working on my blocking and footwork. I tend to adjust well to new situations, and I am a quick learner. I want to continue to play volleyball at the colligate level in a school that will fit me well both as a player and a student.”
