NSR on-the-ground scout, Dave Johnson (North Central Florida), has announced that NSR 2011 alumna, Jennifer Beatty, who played high school volleyball for Warner Christian Academy in South Daytona, Florida and currently for Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina, set a new single season kill record for the Bucs with 401 kills and kills per set average with 3.780. Jen also set a new school standard in kills per set for a career at CVCC. For her outstanding performance of the course of the year, Jennifer was named NJCAA Region X Player or the Year and was selected to the First Team All-Region. Her team is headed to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Toledo, Ohio Nov. 15-17, where they will be the 14th seed.
