NSR is proud to recogniz Kassin Jackson as our Male Athlete of the Day. This 2014 grad is a 5’10”, 200-pound lacrosse goalkeeper for Pleasant Grove High School in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He has earned a 3.5 GPA. His NSR scouting report reads, “Kassin’s commitment to being a student of the game enables him to be a strong leader on the field. He directs the defense in a manner that enhances the efforts of each player and creates a solid defensive front. Kassin demonstrates an exceptional level of fearlessness in the goal and leads an aggressive defense. Kassin has been a strong contributor on a league-winning team. He is, and will be, a valuable addition to any program at the collegiate level.” And in his personal note to college coaches, Kassin says, “As a lacrosse goalie I feel like lacrosse helps me be a leader and a wonderful teammate. My team is everything to me, they are family. I have learned so much from the game that I can take into my life. If something is wrong in my life or I have a hard decision. I use lacrosse to calm me down so I can make it right or make the right decision.”
