As the Beatles Paul McCartney once crooned in a hit song, “Do you want to know a secret?” From top to bottom, National Scouting Report will put it’s roster of high school student-athlete prospects up against any other service in the world.
Actually, it’s no secret at all. For the past 32 years, NSR has identified, enrolled and promoted the top high school prospects in America and across the globe. Taken as a whole, no other scouting service can match the quality of our prospects. How can we make that broad and proud claim? It all boils down to this essential point: we scout our prospects in person; we meet them in person; we enroll them in person; we see them through the recruiting process in person. And, NSR prospects, because of our personal approach to scouting and promoting them, get more attention and receive more offers than prospects from other services. Hands down. It’s not even close.
And, why do we say that? Ask college coaches if they would rather evaluate and recruit prospects that have been scouted in person or put on a Web site through a telemarketing campaign — an approach which does not include ever seeing the prospect in person. If you were a college coach, which prospects would you take time to evaluate? Theirs or ours? Thought so.
In the end, at National Scouting Report we look for quality, not quantity. Making a quota and having a supervisor breathing down our necks to make more calls and sign up more prospects for the company is not our idea of helping prospects and their parents. There are no filters. How could there be? Sign up this many or you’re history. How can you attach the word quality to any part of that scenario? Try as you might, it can’t be done.
If a prospect fails to meet our standards for athletic talent, sincere desire to play at the next level, solid academic history and proven personal character, our scouts will not offer enrollment. We are tied to our reputation with college coaches. Year after year, we remain in place as the recruiting standard for college coaches. They know it. We know it. So, we have no choice but to do the right thing. It’s who we are.
