Our Heisman Watch of former NSR prospect and Oklahoma QB Landry Jones begins with a tally of his stats through three games as the Sooners defeated Air Force last Saturday 27-24. Landry stats: 26 of 42 for 254 yards and one TD. This Saturday, Landry will lead his team against the Cincinnati Bearcats (1-2) at Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium which has artificial turf. The skies are expected to be clear with temperature expected to be in the mid-70’s at gametime. The Bearcats are defending Big East Conference Champions. Here are Landry’s stats so far: 73 of 118 passing attempts with seven TD’s and two INT’s. His completion rate is 61.9% and he is passing for an average of 284 yards per game.
