Christianna Jeffries

We are proud to announce that our Female Athlete of the Day is Christiana Jeffries, a golfer from Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, California who has earned a 3.0 GPA.  She has put together an impressive list of playing honors the past three years.  Her NSR scouting report declares, “Her driving distance and accuracy is amazing, she is out driving girls who have been playing for years. Playing for only two years, her awareness and club selection is right on. Just in the past two months I have seen her increase her play level and desire to win by again making the Masters Tournament and increasing 10 to 15 yards on her driving distance. Once she works a little on her short game she will be a complete player. She has hired a new swing coach showing her dedication to making herself the best competitor on the course. Anna will be a great player for any NCAA school on and off the course.”  As she speaks to college coaches in her essay, you can sense her determination when she says, “I believe I stand apart from the rest because I am foremost an athlete, with heart and determination. And while my experience with golf may be short, my involvement with year round, competitive sports began over 10 years ago. Whatever sport I am playing, I always challenge myself to become the best to my ability.  Since committing to golf two years ago, I have continued to improve. This year I dropped 10 strokes from my score and am now shooting in the low 80`s.  I also have increased the yardage with all of my clubs, adding over 15 yards with my driver alone. In order to continue to improve, I recently changed swing coaches and now use Brett Taylor, who was an outstanding collegiate and tour player who hosts a weekly radio golf show in our area in addition to being the pro for Empire Ranch Golf Course. My plan is to continue to lower my scores as I improve all aspects of my game.”
