NSR lacrosse expert and Chicagoland scout Andrew Novelli says of Emma, “An aggressive left-handed attack that possesses great velocity on her shot. A starter on varsity since freshman year – plays against some of the top talent in the state. Always looking for shot and works to get on inside shoulder of opponent. Good location and accuracy – uses entire net. Versatility includes playing every position but goalie. Good speed and uses natural athleticism to dodge past defenders. Impressive burst and quickness. Plays for one of the most competitive travel teams in the state, True Lacrosse.” Emma talks about her dream of playing college lacrosse in her essay to college coaches when she says, “I have a clear picture in my mind of what my future will hold. To get there, I am passionately searching for a school where I can grow intellectually while also making an impact athletically. I will bring a spirit in both areas that will impact my own advancement as well as others around me. Playing lacrosse will be critical in making my college years successful utilizing my strength, dependability, and unique playing style to attain my personal and team goals.”
