Jordan Bickett

We are pleased to name volleyball standout, Jordan Bickett, from John Paul II Catholic High School in Tallahassee, Florida as our Female Athlete of the Day.  Jordan carries a 3.9 GPA and plans to major in Biology and Chemistry.  Her team’s MVP as a junior, Jordan has a 9’6″ approach touch and led her team to the Florida Final Four.  In his scouting report on Jordan, NSR’s Deep South Regional Manager, Robert Cagle, says, “Jordan Bickett is nothing short of amazing as a volleyball athlete.  This tall, long young lady is impressive on the court and even more impressive off the court.  Jordan has great feet and moves very smoothly on the floor.  She has great vision and intuition and knows where to be at all times.  She does a tremendous job as a middle blocker but is diverse and can hit and serve.  This is a young lady that college coaches will want to get to know now as she is looking for the right fit concerning her collegiate future.”  Jordan speaks directly to college coaches in her personal essay when she says, “Volleyball is a sport that has done so much for me in my life. It is my biggest dream to be able to play volleyball in college and, to continue afterwards for as long as I can in my lifetime. Volleyball has provided me with some of my closest friends along with being associated with some of the best coaches. It has allowed me to travel and have plenty of new experiences I wouldn’t normally have been able to have. And, it gives me an outlet whenever times get rough. My life evolves around volleyball and I always love to be on the court. To continue on with my career would mean so much to me, not only in volleyball but also in my schooling. I would like to receive my degree in chemistry/biochemistry and later go into Forensic Science. I always strive to do my best in school and always work to expand my knowledge.”
