Her NSR scouting report Mike Simbro is glowing:  “If a top notch volleyball program is looking for a terminator on the outside who can play back row and handle the ball well, please look no further.  Megan Bohn, 2013 OH from Sudden Impact VBC here in Denver, CO is just what you are looking for.  Megan is an all around great player who specializes in bringing a heavy hand to the outside and powering her team to victories at tournaments such as Crossroads and the Big South in Atlanta.  I can say very confidently that Megan is one of the best hitters in the state right now.  I can also say that this student-athlete has her priorities in order and is looking for the best education possible so she can pursue her Pre-Med degree and become a doctor in the field of her choice.  One of the unique qualities about Megan is her humbleness off the court and her willingness to do what it takes to win on the court.  I have had the privilege of meeting with Megan and her family and I was very impressed with how she presented herself as someone who shows compassion and heart all the time and not just when others are looking or needing it.  I am proud to have met Megan and I know that many coaches around the country will be happy to have met and bring on such a complete student athlete to their program in the fall of 2013.”

In her essay to college coaches, Megan says, “While volleyball is important to me, my main focus in selecting a school is to attend an institution with respected academic standards. I do realize that volleyball is a great activity; however the only thing that I will major in is academics. I currently have a 3.81 GPA and scored a 22 on my ACT. I take pride in what I do for my athletics, community service, National Honors Society, Believe It Or Not I Care club, and academics. ”
