Thomas Kolb is a 6’0″, 185-pound, senior golfer with a 3.4 GPA. Playing for Victor Central High School in Victor, New York, Thomas is a three-time All-League performer and has been a Medalist at seven tournaments as the squads number one player. He plans to major in Business. Trevor Sousa is his high school coach and says, “Tom continues to make positive strides forward in his game because of the focus and work ethic he brings to the golf course every day. Tom has been a leader on this team for the last three years and interacts positively with all of the members of the team. He is an extremely talented golfer and his season’s results always ranks him near the top in section five which is loaded with great golf. Finally, tom is an extremely coachable athlete, accepts feedback, and strives to find ways to be better every day. He is extremely mentally tough and can rebound from a bad swing, shot, hole, or round and thrives in pressure situations.” Tom Sydeski (New York) is his NSR scout. In his essay to college coaches, Tom says, ” I am an extremely hard worker and will do anything for the good of the team, and for a chance to win an NCAA title. More importantly, I would be good in the classroom. I work as hard at school work as I do at golf. I keep all of my grades up, and I always maintain an average of about 90%.”
