Get Scouted Scouting CareersWe have selected Cole Fenner from Galena High School in Reno, Nevada. This 6’2″, 190-pound multi-talented player has earned an impressive 3.9 GPA while being named to the North Nevada All-Star Team. He plans to major in Excercise and Wellness. In his essay to college coaches, Cole declares, ” I am one of the hardest working students and baseball players you will meet. I work had to keep my grades high and plan to graduate with an honors degree. I know that I value hard work, in part, due to my parents and the values they have raised me with. I also had a coach I respect very much once tell me that “dedication is how hard you work when no one is looking.” That saying means a lot to me and I know that I have to live up to my own standards, which are very high.” Cole’s NSR scouting report says of him, “Cole Fenner is a true D1 prospect who, when looking at him you have to realize he is only 16 years old. Great swing with power, gap to gap stroke, big and strong and will only get stronger. Excellent footwork that continues to get better with a quick reaction to the ball. Cole works out constantly on his own with a personal trainer for gym work and Juan Thomas an ex big leaguer from Kelly Athletics in the cage. Cole understands that academic excellence coincides with athletic acheivements and is sporting a 3.90 GPA.”
