Kyle McGarry

Kyle McGarry is a 2013, 6’4″, 200-pound wide receiver from Point Pleasant High School in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.  This impressive student-athlete has a GPA of 3.4 and averaged 25 yards per catch as a junior last season.  He ranked in the top 10 of all NJ junior wide receivers in yards per catch in 2011 and accounted for 70% of the teams receiving yards.  His head coach Sean Henry said of Kyle, “Kyle is a leader for our program both on and off of the field.  He is a hard worker and a great practice player.  He has made countless huge plays for us and won several games for us.  Kyle has tremendous pride and competitiveness that he exhibits as one of our team leaders.  I have no doubt that Kyle will have an excellent career and will be one of the best players to come through Point Pleasant.  I believe he will be a Division I athlete.”  NSR veteran scout Dan Greco (New Jersey) is Kyle’s on-the-ground support system.  In his scouting report on Kyle, Dan says, “The thing that sets Kyle apart is his desire to truly dominate the game and his willingness to work as hard as needed to obtain that goal.  He is not satisfied with the many accomplishments he has had so early in his high school career. He remains humble and hungry for much more. He also is quite successful n the classroom and works as hard there as he does on the field and court. He is an excellent college prospect and has all the tools to succeed at the highest level.”  In Kyle’s essay to college coaches, he says, “Along with my athletics, I am focused on doing well in school. I am an honor roll student.  I am also involved in a Challenger Basketball Program where I help disabled kids in my town play basketball which I really enjoy participating in.” Congratulations, Kyle!
