It’s Time for You to Step Up to the Recruiting Big Leagues

Step up or get left behind. It's your call. NSR can help.

Halfway measures simply will not get results in recruiting.  To borrow a popular phrase, you have to be “all in” if you expect college coaches to find, evaluate and recruit you.

Relying  on your club team tournaments, high school coach, local newspaper and the occasional email to coaches is like trying to stop an eighteen wheeler by throwing feathers at it.  Recruiting activity happens when you get involved in a big and serious way.  Everybody today is doing the club/travel thing.  Everybody is telling their coaches they want to play in college.  And everybody’s name is being flashed in the area news rag.  And, everybody is not getting recruited.

To stand out, you can’t be a sissy about it and take the road of least resistance.  Hunkering down and charging ahead into the recruiting fray is really the only effective way to get the attention of coaches.  A comprehensive promotional campaign which reaches a lot of coaches is how you get noticed.

College coaches are going to events to see prospects they already know about, not to discover talent, and certainly not to discover you.  Realistically, do you expect a coach who knows nothing about you to stop while you are making the play of the tournament?  Do you think for a moment that all the stars will be aligned perfectly for a coach to see you at your very best when there are a hundred or more quality prospects doing their thing at the very same time?  No.  Recruiting doesn’t work that way.

Putting yourself in front of coaches in an assertive, acceptable way requires a proven approach.  Hoping won’t get it done.  You have to jump in with both feet so that coaches know you are a legit prospect.  And, in all truth, you can’t do it alone.  You need a pro who knows college coaches and who can reach out to them while mom and dad are at work and you are in school, while they are rooting you on at a game while you are playing.

NSR scouts are the pros you need to communicate with coaches, to make them stop in their tracks and to spend the time needed to review your video and academic qualifications.  Why do you think that only 10% of all high school senior athletes not receiving professional help get recruited while 90% of all NSR prospects have choices of where to play in college?  It’s because we have done it for 32 years.  We know precisely what college coaches want to see and we know them through years of interacting with them on a local, regional, national and international basis.

NSR is not an open enrollment company, though.  We don’t accept everyone.  Our prospects are closely evaluated before being promoted to colleges.  If you qualify and you enroll, the experience will change your life.  Why?  Because coaches will find you, evaluate you and recruit you through NSR.  It’s really that simple.
